One thing that’s not immediately obvious in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, is how to use the Scavenger ability.
Unlike previous entries in the LEGO Star Wars franchise, The Skywalker Saga separates its characters into classes. You’ve got Heroes, Villains, Jedi, Sith, Bounty Hunters, Scavengers, and many more categories to choose from.

LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga: How to Use the Scavenger Ability
When playing as a Scavenger, just like Rey in her Jakku appearance, simply hold B or Circle to bring up the equipment menu.
From there, simply choose the equipment you want to build and hit confirm (A or X on controller). Here’s what each ability can be used for.
- Breaker Blaster – Destroys cracked walls, allowing you to bypass obstacles or find hidden collectibles.
- Glider – Hold jump once in the air to glide for a short distance and access hard-to-reach areas.
- Net Launcher – When aiming at specific walls, can be fired to leave a climbable net to gain some much-needed height.
To unlock your first Scavenger and their abilities in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, you may want to begin with The Force Awakens. After all, you’ll soon be playing as Rey’s Scavenger appearance, and then have a character for Free Play!
After completing the Scavenger tutorial inside the crashed Empire ship, you’ll quickly unlock all 3 abilities.
