What’s Different in World Tier 4 in Diablo 4?

The biggest change you’ll experience while playing in World Tier 4 is the massive difficulty increase in enemies and the possibility for Ancestral gear and Uber Unique Items to drop as loot.

Here’s what you can expect in World Tier 4:

  • Enemies are more difficult
  • Monsters give 200% more experience

Ancestral gear pieces are more powerful variants of normal and Sacred loot. Typically, Ancestral gear will have better stat rolls and more powerful affixes. Ancestral gear can only drop as loot in World Tier 4.

Additionally, there are six Uber Unique Items that will only drop in World Tier 4, if you are at least level 85+. These are widely considered to be some of the most potent and sought-after items in the entire game.

Clearly, there are a lot of reasons to try your hand at World Tier 4 in Diablo 4. It poses a particularly grueling challenge but has huge potential for tantalizingly powerful rewards.
