The PPSh-41 is one of the most iconic guns in gaming and has been a favorite in the Call of Duty series ever since the original game was released back in 2003. Since then, it has appeared in many iterations of the game and it will soon be coming to Call of Duty: Mobile as part of the Season 1 update.
This fast-firing, high-capacity SMG is sure to be a popular choice in COD: Mobile and many players will be wondering how they too can get their hands on the PPSh-41.
If you are one such player, this PPSh-41 unlock guide will show you exactly what you need to do.
Unlocking the PPSh-41 in COD Mobile
The PPSh-41 is one of two guns that are being added as part of the Season 1 update. The other being the Kilo 141.
The Russian-made SMG is an absolute monster. With a high-capacity magazine and a ridiculous fire rate, it’s the perfect weapon for running and gunning.
The Kilo 141 can be unlocked through challenges to be released later in the season. The PPSh-41, on the other hand, is available through the Season 1 Battle Pass.
The Season 1 Battle Pass has 50 tiers for players to grind and will cost 220 CP (500 CP costs $4.99 / £4.31). The PPSh-41 is unlocked at tier 21. Though it should be noted the PPSh-41 is part of the free track.
Now, there’s a way to unlock the PPSh-41 quicker and that is by purchasing the Season 1 Battle Pass Bundle. The Battle Pass bundle costs 520 CP and automatically unlocks the first 12 tiers. Leaving players to grind just another nine for the SMG.
How Good Is the PPSh-41 in COD Mobile?
Early signs are that the gun is going to be very good indeed. The gun excels at short ranges, but can also flex at distance due to its fast-fire rate.
Those (slight) issues at range are exacerbated in the battle royale mode though, so this is likely a weapon for standard multiplayer.
It’s been compared favorably to the CBR4 SMG. Some even claim it is an improvement on the gun that many consider the best from Season 11.
