How to Unlock Merlin’s Cloak in Hogwarts Legacy

To unlock Merlin’s Cloak in Hogwarts Legacy, players need to tune into the eligible streams on official Avalanche Software Twitch Channel.

Viewers on Twitch will need to stay for at least 20 minutes to redeem the in-game cosmetic.

So far, we have no information as to when Merlin’s Cloak will be available again. As soon as further streams get announced, we’ll update this article.

Chandler Wood, Hogwarts Legacy Community Manager, confirmed that more opportunities to obtain the rare cosmetic item would be coming in the weeks following launch.

So far, only one more stream has offered fans a chance to earn the rare cosmetic.

Past Merlin Cloak streams have taken place at

  1. February 7 at 8 AM PT/4 PM GMT
  2. February 10 at 8 AM PT/4 PM GMT
  3. February 24th at 2 PM PST / 5 PM EST

Merlin’s Cloak is only a limited-time reward and exclusive to this Twitch Drops event. It is unlikely that this cosmetic will ever appear as a reward in Hogwarts Legacy itself.

This Twitch Drop is even more exclusive since it is tied to specific Avalanche Software streams. The initial streams were broadcasts to commemorate the launch of Hogwarts Legacy’s early access.
