There’s a brand-new SMG to unlock in both Call of Duty MW3 and Warzone in Season 1 Reloaded – here’s how to get the HRM-9!

Whenever a COD title adds a new seasonal weapon, there’s a good chance that gun will end up being meta. After all, Activision wants players to be excited about new releases, and there’s no better way of garnering attention than by making a weapon a little too overtuned.

Here’s how to get your hands on the latest new release, the HRM-9 in both Warzone and Modern Warfare 3!

How to Unlock HRM-9

To unlock the HRM-9 in Warzone and MW3, players need to complete Sector A21 of the Season 1 Battle Pass.

The weapon is free for all players, but users will have to work for it by grinding the Battle Pass! Luckily, its sector is right next to the Sector A1 starting point.

Once completed, the HRM-9 will be available to stick in your Warzone loadouts in Multiplayer, Battle Royale, and Zombies modes.

Finally, all users can unlock the HRM-9 instantly by purchasing a bundle from the COD Store that features a Weapon Blueprint for the SMG., such as the new System Error bundle.

This way, you’ll be free to level up the gun and customize the loadout even without completing its Armory Unlock challenge.

What Is the HRM-9?

The HRM-9 is a new SMG that arrived in MW3 and Warzone Season 1 Reloaded.

When using the HRM-9, players will want to adapt a run-and-gun playstyle, to take advantage of the SMG’s fast rate of fire and high damage up close.

In the HRM-9’s best Warzone loadout, the SMG fits into the meta nicely as a close-quarters beast.

HRM-9 Stats in MW3

The Activision blog post describes the weapon as:

“A light yet stable 9mm submachine gun for close quarters combat and putting down enemies quickly.”

This close-quarters performance can be further enhanced through the Gunsmith, or players can instead adapt the weapon to mid-range by tweaking select attachments.
