Cold War and Warzone Season 2 has finally been released – find out how to unlock every new weapon here.
Call of Duty players have been waiting for Season 2 for ages, but it’s finally here. It has a load of new content, including maps, operators, and weapons.
Season 2 will have 6 new weapons which can be unlocked either through the battle pass or by completing in-game challenges.
How To Unlock Season 2 Battle Pass Weapons
Cold War and Warzone Season 2 has two Battle Pass weapons to unlock. These are the FARA 83 Assault Rifle and the LC10 SMG.
The FARA 83 is a very hard-hitting assault rifle that has a fast fire rate and impressive damage range. Just make sure to put the right attachments on it to handle to recoil!
It is the easiest weapon to unlock in Cold War and Warzone Season 2. Players will get access to this weapon by reaching tier 15 of the free Battle Pass track.
The FARA 83 is also the first gun in the game to get a reactive blueprint. Find out what reactive blueprints are and how to unlock them here.
The LC10 is an SMG that has impressive range and minimal recoil, making it great for mid-range firefights, as well as up close.
It can also be unlocked through the free Season 2 Battle Pass. This weapon will take a little bit longer to get, but it can be unlocked at tier 31.
Make sure to take advantage of Double XP coming to Cold War soon to level up this new gun twice as fast.

No need to explain what a Machete is really – it’s just a big knife!
The Machete can be unlocked for free by completing an in-game challenge. Players will need to earn a Back Stabber medal in 15 different matches. This can be done by killing an enemy from behind with a melee weapon.
Players can also purchase the River Slasher bundle in the COD store for 1800 COD Points to get instant access to the Backwater Blade Machete blueprint.
Yes, the E-Tool is a shovel, but this melee weapon still packs a punch up close.
The E-tool is another melee weapon that players can unlock by completing an in-game challenge.
Alternatively, players will be able to get an E-Tool blueprint in the upcoming Tool of War bundle in the COD Store.
Melee weapons are also some of the best to use to kill zombies. Find out everything you need to know about the new Cold War Zombies Outbreak mode here.

Two bundles featuring a blueprint for the R1 Shadowhunter are also in the store in Season 2.
ZRG 20mm Sniper Rifle
The only sniper rifle coming in Cold War and Warzone Season 2 is the ZRG 20mm. This is the perfect gun for long-range kills and has the fastest bullet velocity in the game.
The ZRG 20mm was added in the huge Season 2 Reloaded update for Black Ops Cold War.
The challenge to unlock the ZRG 20mm is: Get 2 Longshot Medals in 15 different matches.
Meanwhile, Zombies have arrived in Verdansk in the latest Warzone event. The Season 2 update has made loads of changes and has even removed the dreaded stim glitch once and for all.
