How Do You Reveal Opponents With Flare Gun or Firework Flare Gun in Fortnite
When using the Flare Gun or Firework Flare Gun to reveal opponents, you must shoot the weapon near the player.
This will launch a flare into the air, which, if it hangs there long enough, marks all players within 50 meters of it for 60 seconds.
The flare will highlight the opponents by marking them with a red diamond above their hand. This will make it easier to track them.

Fortnite players can find a Flare or Firework Flare Gun by:
- Opening chests.
- Finding it as part of the ground loot.
- Selecting the Tracker’s Armory Reality Augment.
Since it is part of the loot pool, the best way to get one is to land at one of the large POIs containing many chests. The POIs with the most are Mega City (116) and Slappy Shores (61).
