How to Report Cheaters in Warzone Pacific’s Caldera

Warzone Pacific’s Caldera map is almost here and cheaters are going to show up sooner or later.

Finally, Warzone is getting a total makeover with the introduction of Caldera. This new era means one thing aside from a brand new map. It means that new cheats are on the way.

Activision is quite aware of this issue and has addressed it quite some time in advance. Some months ago, Activision announced Ricochet, its new anti-cheat solution for Vanguard and Warzone.

The publisher was clear that this new system would not immediately stop cheaters in Warzone Pacific.

Ricochet will need some time to learn from ongoing cheat patterns and polish before getting to where it needs to be.

In the meantime, here is how you can report cheaters in Warzone Pacific’s Caldera.

Report Cheating Players in Warzone Pacific Caldera Map

If you encounter a player you are certain is cheating in Warzone Pacific Caldera map, you can proceed to report it to Activision.

To report cheaters on Warzone Pacific, follow these steps:

  • Press Y on Xbox (Triangle on PlayStation) to open the Social menu. On PC, simply select the Social tab.
  • Go to the Recent Players option.
  • Once you are highlighting the player you want to report, press A on Xbox (X on PlayStation). On PC, you can directly select the player you want to report.
  • Select Report Player.
  • Select one of the options to report the player.

After this process is complete in Warzone, Activision will receive your report and evaluate if a player is a cheater. Note that Activision does not follow up with updates due to the nature of these reports.

Activision also advises that you remove the player you report from your Friends List in case you added them as a friend.

Of course, cheaters have not received Ricochet in the nicest way. Some time ago, cheaters mocked Activision on a live stream right after Ricochet was announced.

Cheating is still a problem in Call of Duty games. Not long ago, Vanguard players observed cheaters already in the game.

Activision has put effort into solving this situation. First, by introducing Ricochet and then by directly shutting down cheat providers.

Hopefully, Ricochet will gradually end this issue so gamers can get the experience they deserve!
