How to Play Warzone at 120 FPS on PS5

Warzone Season 4 is making some big changes and PS5 players can finally join the 120 FPS club. Here’s how to make sure you’re running the game as smoothly as possible!

One of the biggest advantages of playing Warzone on a next-gen console is the sheer power of the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The new generation of gaming devices has quite the advantage over their predecessors, in both graphical capability and performance.

But despite the PS5 being far superior to the PS4, we’ve never been able to play Warzone at its best. The Xbox Series X has always been able to handle Warzone at 120 FPS, but the PS5 has previously been locked to 60.

Bear in mind that you need to have a compatible monitor or TV to enable 120 FPS modes. Be sure to check your screen’s refresh rate to see what it’s capable of handling.

While many modern TVs still cap out at 60Hz, computer monitors and some high-end screens will have 120Hz capabilities. You’ll also need to be using HDMI 2.1 to ensure you can use 120 FPS in Warzone on higher resolutions.
