Players who pre-order a digital edition of Modern Warfare 2 will be able to access the campaign portion ahead of the game’s official release.
Before pre-ordering, it’s best to get an idea of what comes in the many editions of Modern Warfare 2. As always, players will have access to different in-game rewards and exclusive content depending on which edition they pre-order.

When Does MW2 Campaign Early Access Begin?
The Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Early Access will begin on October 20, 2022, for those who pre-order digitally.
This will allow players to experience the entirety of the campaign a whole week before the official release on October 28.
The campaign will take players through a global adventure with missions in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. So it’ll give players a pretty good idea of what to expect in terms of the environment and feel of the maps.
