The official release of FIFA 23 is fast approaching, while those with EA Play early access can play the game sooner with a 10-hour trial. Here’s how to get the most out of this trial!

Early access is the optimal opportunity to get a head start and become familiar with all the new features, whether it be in Ultimate Team, Career Mode, or Pro Clubs.

Currently, there are three ways to get started on the virtual pitch before FIFA 23 officially launches. One of these options is EA Play subscribers being able to try FIFA 23 for 10 hours starting on September 27, 2022, three days before the official release date.

Don’t miss out on learning all of the ways to play FIFA 23 early.

Over the course of three days, 10 hours is not a significant amount of time, so it can be easily wasted. Here are all the tips to make the most of your 10-hour trial playing the latest FIFA!

Career Mode

Skipping cutscenes
In FIFA 23’s career mode, cutscenes enhance the immersion of running a football team or being a rising professional player. You can, however, skip cutscenes if you want to advance through as many seasons as possible.

Reducing match length to 4-minutes each half
Among the game settings, there is an option to change the half-length. Each half has a default duration of 6 minutes. These settings can be changed to a low of 4 minutes or a high of 20 minutes.

It is recommended that you reduce the length of each half to four minutes in order to save as much time as possible. You’ll be able to play as many games as you can due to this.

Here’s how you can change the half length in FIFA 23:

  • On the FIFA 23 start screen scroll over and open the customize tab
  • Open the “Settings”
  • The option to change half length will be the first option on the “Match” tab
  • Move the left analog stick left to reduce the length or right to increase the length

Pro Clubs

Communicating with your team-mates
Maintaining effective team communication is important if you want to get the most out of your time on Pro Clubs. To spend as little time as possible waiting on the start screen, be sure to plan a time for everyone to log onto Pro Clubs.

Also, let your team know when you need to take a short break so that you can all exit the game.

Creating your Pro on FIFA 22
It could take some time to create your virtual professional. You can become engaged in all the customization options. Fortunately, if you own FIFA 22, your pro player’s appearance will carry over to the new game.

Even though you won’t have access to the new personalization choices, FIFA 22 allows you to easily alter your facial appearance.
