To get onto the Floating Loot Island in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, once it spawns into existence at a random location, you’ll need to use the ziplines leading up to it or the rifts under it.
- Using the rift will teleport you directly to the top of the Floating Loot Island. Here you can easily glide down and reach the top of the familiar house from Loot Lake.
- Using a rift does make a loud noise and will alert anyone already on the floating island of your arrival.
- The zipline is sometimes safer when playing solo since you can silently make your way onto the island.
- This method is not foolproof. If there happens to be anyone watching the zipline, then you will enter at a huge disadvantage.

It is worth noting this location doesn’t start with the map. The Floating Loot Island usually rifts onto the map alongside the fourth storm circle, and it doesn’t always spawn in the same place.
Players can find it on the map as a large rift icon, as observed in the image below. If you’re close enough to its spawn locations, you’ll see a location marker appear on your HUD.
This marker indicates the direction and distance from your current location to the Floating Loot Island in Fortnite.

Right: Marker in-game.
The Floating Loot Island is full of great loot that can benefit any player looking to earn a Victory Royale. Players can use the Capture Point to quickly highlight all the chests in the area, but it is a hot spot, so keep an eye out for enemy players.
If you’re looking for the best loot, you’ll need to go to the vault under the house on Floating Loot Island. You will need two keys to open this vault, but it is worth all the high-level loot on the other side.
Where is Loot Island in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2
The Floating Loot Island in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 spawns in the sky randomly around the island. It tends to spawn sometime after the third Storm Circle.
It is hard to pinpoint exactly where it will spawn. For this reason, your best bet is to find one of the vehicles in Fortnite. Ideally, you want to do this just before the fourth Storm Circle is about to close.
This will allow you to stay mobile so you can head to where the Floating Loot Island is immediately after it spawns.

With Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan coming to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 then, it could mean we’ll see Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear on the island.
If that happens, it’ll likely be a faster way of getting to the top of the Floating Loot Island.
