The Frostbite Armor set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom imbues Link’s attacks with frost damage when he’s in cold environments.
It’s a really powerful set of armor in the right setting and can help in the heat (or cold) of battle!
Fortunately, getting your hands on it is incredibly easy, although you will need to bring some warm clothing and a handful of Spicy Elixirs.
All Frostbite Armor Locations TOTK
Every piece of the Frostbite Armor set is located in the snowy Hebra region to the Northwest. So, we recommend purchasing the Snowquill Armor set from the Rito Village store, as it helps with cold resistance.
Alternatively, you can use the Archaic Warm Greaves, which you can find on the Great Sky Island.
Additionally, having some Spicy Elixirs or cold resistance meals will help you survive the freezing temperatures and allow you to unlock the Frostbite Armor set.
Frostbite Headdress Location TOTK
The Frostbite Headdress is located in the Lake Kilsie Cave (coordinates -3930, 2844, -0016) in the Hebra Region Northwest of the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower.
- Head to the Lake Kilsie Cave next to the Sturnida Basin (see map below).
- Immediately in the entrance is a Horriblin. Defeat it and continue through the tunnel.
- Once it’s defeated, head to the edge of the cliff where the gust of wind is shooting up, and look to your right.
- You should see icicles covering a tunnel entrance.
- Glide over and break the boulders blocking the way.
- Alternatively, before gliding over, shoot the entrance with a Bomb Flower-infused arrow.
- Inside you’ll find a chest.
- Open it to unlock the Frostbite Headdress.
Additionally, use the wind current to fly you all the way to the top of the cave. Glide through the tunnel to find a Bubbulfrog.
Frostbite Shirt Location TOTK
The Frostbite Shirt is located in the Brightcap Cave (coordinates -2982, 1689, 0198) East of the Oromuwak Shrine and Southeast of the Lucky Clover Gazette.
- Head to Brightcap Cave (see map below).
- The entrance to the cave is next to a tent and two people (Meghyn & Nat) who give you the Side Quest Cave Mushrooms That Glow.
- Head through and jump down past the brambles.
- Continue down the tunnel and defeat the Horriblin.
- A little further down, you’ll find a Like Like. Defeat it too.
- Run past where it was hanging and then turn right.
- Turn right again, and you’ll see a chest behind some brambles.
- Set the brambles on fire and open the chest.
- You’ll find the Frostbite Shirt inside.
Additionally, if you turn around from where you found the chest and head up the wall, you’ll find a Bubbulfrog.
Frostbite Trousers Location TOTK
Finally, the Frostbite Trousers are located in the Hebra Headspring Cave (coordinates -2887, 2502, 0392) East of the Sahirow Shrine and Northeast of the Lucky Clover Gazette.
- Head to Hebra Headspring Cave (see map below).
- Climb onto the ice pillars and jump across to the tunnel on the other side of the room. Having the Froggy Armor will help, as it will stop you from slipping off the ice pillars.
- Be careful. Do not drop into the freezing water below, as it will damage you regardless of how much cold resistance you have.
- If you glide across to the other side but don’t manage to reach the tunnel, follow these steps:
- Edge over to the left side of the wall.
- Climb up the black rock until you reach the edge of the ice.
- Jump over the ice portion of the wall (press X) and then climb up the rest of the black rock onto the tunnel’s ledge.
- Inside the tunnel is the final chest.
- Open it to find the Frostbite Trousers inside.
Additionally, you will find the Bubbulfrog through the tunnel directly opposite the one you found the chest in.
