The Finals, a new multiplayer shooter from Embark Studios, is going live in its second Closed Beta.
For those who want to drop into the destruction-filled world of The Finals, you’ll need to get access to Closed Beta 2 before hopping in.
Bear in mind that The Finals is only currently available on PC, however, the free-to-play game will also launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X for its official release.
Here’s everything you need to know about The Finals Closed Beta’s start/end date, install size, and how to get playing!
How to Get The Finals Closed Beta Code
The only confirmed way to get a code for The Finals Closed Beta 2 is by requesting access on the game’s Steam page.
In addition, all players who took part in The Finals’ first Closed Beta will get automatic access to the new trial.
Here’s how to request access via Steam:
- Head to the Steam Store or open your Steam application on PC.
- Log in to your Steam account.
- Search for The Finals
- Scroll down on the game’s store page and click the green Request Access button.

- Confirm your decision by clicking Request Access in the pop-up.
- You have now successfully signed up for The Finals Closed Beta access!
Bear in mind that access to The Finals is not guaranteed. You’ll know if you’ve been picked for the game’s early trial if you receive an email in your inbox about it.
If you don’t get access right away, never fear! During the first The Finals Closed Beta, keys were sent out in several waves. Therefore, your access could arrive before too long.
Last time around, we also saw Steelseries giving out a limited number of guaranteed Beta keys for The Finals via its app. This promotion is not yet confirmed to be happening for Closed Beta 2, but we’d recommend keeping our eyes open for similar giveaways.
