The Lemur-like Passimian is finally coming to Pokemon GO as part of the 2023 World Championships Celebration event, but you won’t be able to find one in the wild!

Every Pokemon trainer wants to catch the latest additions to Pokemon GO, but they aren’t always easy to get – and Passimian is one of those that players may struggle to add to their Pokedex.

Fortunately, there are two ways that players will be able to catch Passimian during the 2023 World Championships Celebration event, which is running from August 11 to August 15!

How to Catch Passimian in Pokemon GO

There are only two ways to catch Passimian in the Pokemon GO 2023 World Championships Celebration event:

Passimian is one of the Tier 3 Raid bosses as well as a Field Research reward encounter from August 11 to August 15, 2023 – the whole duration of the 2023 World Championships Celebration event. This means you don’t have too much time to catch one.

Unfortunately, the shiny version of Passimian will not be available to catch in Pokemon GO just yet. This is unlike Turtonator, which recently made its Pokemon GO debut with its shiny version available.

2023 Pokemon GO World Championships

Following the 2023 World Championships Celebration event, it is not known when Passimian will return to Pokemon GO. However, we expect it will be at least a couple of months before it’s next available for players to catch!
