How to Get Caged Heart of The Malignant Pact in Diablo 4

The best way to get the Caged Heart of The Malignant Pact in Diablo 4 is to farm the Ravening Pit Malingant Tunnel in World Tier 3. After a few runs, there is a high possibility that you’ll run into at least a few Wrathful Malignant enemies in the tunnels.

Players can also try to craft one using the Uncertain Heart Cache at Cormond’s Workbench in Kyovashad or Zarbinzet. However, the odds of obtaining the Malignant Pact Heart through these methods are incredibly low.

Players have found other methods to farm for Wrathful Hearts and increase the odds of obtaining a Caged Heart of The Malignant Pact, which we’ll list below, but the Ravening Pit offers the best results.

  • Method 1 (Recommended method) – Farm Ravening Pit Malignant Tunnel in World Tier 3.
    • This will help your chances of running into multiple Malignant Enemies in the Malignant Tunnels.

  • Method 2 – Craft a Caged Heart of The Malignant Pact through the Uncertain Heart Cache.
    • There is only a small chance of players actually crafting a Wrathful Malignant Heart from this method. We only recommend doing this when you have materials to spare.
  • Method 3 – Use Wrathful Invoker to Summon a Wrathful Malignant enemy.
    • Players can run into a Wrathful Malignant Outgrowth at the end of any Malignant Tunnel. Use a Wrathful Invoker at this outgrowth to summon a Wrathful Malignant enemy.
    • This will guarantee that a Wrathful Heart will drop with a high chance of being a Caged Heart of The Malignant Pact.

Each method will help the player farm for Wrathful Malignant hearts, but players have reported plenty of success using the first method to get the Malignant Pact Heart.

How to Craft Caged Heart of The Malignant Pact

Players can craft a Caged Heart of The Malignant Pact by chance using the Uncertain Heart Caches at Cormond’s Workbench found in Kyovashad or Zarbinzet.

However, this is entirely up to chance and in no way guaranteed. This means players could open up to 50 Uncertain Heart Caches and not see a single Wrathful Heart, much less a Caged Heart of the Malignant Pact.

One player mentioned that they didn’t obtain their first Wrathful Malignant Heart until their 83rd cache. That seems far too troublesome to use to farm for the Malignant Pact Heart.

The Caged Heart of the Malignant Pact will cycle through different Malignant Bonuses every 20 kills. There are three different bonuses that it can cycle through, including:

  • Vicious – Increase Attack Speed by 21%.
  • Devious – Core and Basic Skills have a 16% chance to restore your primary resource completely.
  • Brutal – Gain a Barrier absorbing (10-1,815) damage every 20 seconds.
