Carracosta is one of the hardest Pokemon to get in the 2023 Adventure Week Collection Challenge, but obtaining one isn’t impossible!
Many Pokemon GO players are stuck on the Cover & Plume section of the Adventure Week Collection Challenge. This is because both Carracosta and Archeops are proving difficult to obtain.
Unfortunately, you won’t come across a Carracosta in the wild in Pokemon GO. However, there is one way that you can get one for the Collection Challenge!
How to Get Carracosta in Pokemon GO 2023 Adventure Week
The only way to get a Carracosta in Pokemon GO Adventure Week is by evolving a Tirtouga using 50 Tirtouga Candy.
Luckily, this is easier than usual during Adventure Week, as Tirtouga will be spawning more often in the wild. This makes farming 50 Tirtouga Candy much faster and simpler.
To make this process faster, use Incense, Daily Adventure Incense, or Lure Modules to attract more Pokemon to your location. Hopefully, some of these Pokemon will be Tirtouga.
Additionally, we recommend feeding any Tirtouga you encounter a Pinap Berry or Silver Pinap berry to increase the amount of Candy it gives you. After all, the more Candy you earn per Tirtouga catch, the faster you can evolve a Tirtouga into Carracosta.
Using these tips, you should be able to get a Carracosta in Pokemon GO pretty quickly. Remember, you only have until 8 PM local time on August 2, 2023, to finish the Adventure Week Collection Challenge, so there is no time to lose!
