There are two ways to get the Caged Heart of The Barber in Diablo 4, including:
- From Wrathful Malignant Enemies in World Tier 3
- The Caged Heart of The Barber can randomly drop from Wrathful Malignant Enemies in World Tier 3 and higher.he most likely scenario is to head to the Ravening Pit in World Tier 4
- Players can guarantee a Wrathful Malignant Enemy by using a Wrathful Invoker at a Wrathful Malignant Outgrowth (found at the end of Malignant Tunnels).
- There is a chance to obtain a Wrathful Invoker by crafting the Uncertain Invoker at Cormond’s Workbench in Kyovashad.
- From Uncertain Heart Caches
- Uncertain Heart Caches give players a random chance of obtaining any of the available Malignant Hearts.
- It is the only way to obtain a Wrathful Caged Heart outside of Wrathful Malignant Enemies.
- Players can craft Uncertain Heart Caches at Cormond’s Workbench in Kyovashad.
Wrathful Malignant Powers are the most difficult to come across in Diablo 4. This is why both methods to obtain the Caged Heart of The Barber are based on chance and not guaranteed.
However, players have reported opening dozens of Uncertain Heart Caches and not seeing a single Wrathful Malignant Heart. This means the odds of actually finding one this way are incredibly low.
Thankfully, one player mentioned in the comments that an easier method to get Wrathful Malignant Powers is to farm the Ravening Pit Malignant Tunnel in World Tier 4.
Players will need to reach Level 75 to survive World Tier 4, but it’s probably the best way to obtain the Caged Heart of the Barber in Diablo 4 Season 1.
How to Craft Caged Heart of The Barber
Players will have a chance to craft the Caged Heart of The Barger by using Malignany Ichors at Cormond’s Workbench to craft an Uncertain Hearts Cache.
You’ll need Malignant Ichors to craft the Uncertain Hearts Cache, which players can obtain by salvaging Malignant Hearts at Cormond’s Workbench or defeating Malignant enemies around Sanctuary.
What Does the Caged Heart of The Barber Do?
The Caged Heart of The Barber makes it so that the target you are facing absorbs all Critical Strikes and subsequent damage within 2-4 seconds. After this time, any damage absorbed erupts onto surrounding enemies.
The damage will increase in damage by 10% per second while stored.
It is a powerful skill that allows players to build up damage into their enemies, and unleash it all at once. However, this does have some negative effects on certain builds and circumstances.
- While players use this Malignant Power, any skill they use that activates with Critical Strikes will not function properly.
- This is because all your attacks are absorbed instead of registering as a hit.
- While this effect is active, the damage done by other players around you is also absorbed by your target.
- This is likely a glitch since it seems other players don’t see the damage numbers nor the damage done by the eruption of the skill.
