These are all the methods to get bot lobbies in Warzone 2.

Not everyone is a fan of the skill-based matchmaking system Infinity Ward has implemented into Warzone 2.

Sometimes you may just want to hop into a game and casually battle your way to a victory rather than compete against people of similar skill.

Bot lobbies will be full of lower K/D players or players who have not played the game much. This will help you get more kills and wins.

Every Way to Get Easier Lobbies in Warzone 2

There are a lot of ways to reduce the effects of skill-based matchmaking and here is every method you can use:

Reverse Boosting

Reverse boosting is the most effective method but also the most frowned upon. K/D is the most important factor in how SBMM is calculated, so reducing your K/D is sure to give you easier lobbies.

Reverse boosting means that instead of going into a game to get loads of kills, you would aim to get as many deaths as possible to reduce your SBMM level.

However, people who reverse boost have a bad reputation in the community.

In Warzone 2, you can get a minimum of two deaths per match. One for your first death, and a second if you die in the Gulag or after re-deploying from the Gulag.

You could also get additional deaths if your teammate buys you back from The Shop.

Unfortunately, MW2 Multiplayer will not affect your Warzone 2 K/D.

Turn Off Crossplay

If you are on a console, turning off crossplay can help you win more games. While console players will have aim assist to aid them, PC users will have all the advantages in movement and recoil control.

The new G-Walk movement technique in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 can only be used on PC, so avoiding running into players using this movement mechanic will be beneficial.

You can turn off crossplay by going into Settings > Account & Network > Crossplay > Toggle Off.

We also have a more in-depth guide to turning crossplay off for each console. This will walk you through each step to disable it.

Play Earlier in the Day

Skill-based matchmaking will pit you against players at similar skill levels. However, when there are not many players in your skill bracket online, it will instead use your connection as the main factor.

SBMM is at its strictest between 8 pm and 2 am. While it is more lenient between 3 am and 7 am.

Playing between 3 am and 7 am in your timezone will typically give you easier lobbies!

Using a VPN

Having a VPN will let you set your location to anywhere across the world and it can help get easier lobbies in a couple of ways:

  • Connecting VPN to a low-population server
    • This will reduce the effects K/D has on SBMM and will instead use your connection as the main factor.
  • Connecting VPN to a location in a 3 am to 7 am timezone.
    • Not everyone will be able to hop into Warzone 2 between 3 am and 7 am. Using a VPN will let you play between these times at any point in the day by switching to a country currently at these times!

Just like reverse boosting, using a VPN is frowned upon in the community. Many people view using a VPN as a form of boosting.

You can use some of these methods, such as reverse boosting or using a VPN, at your own risk. We do not encourage you to use some of these methods to get easier lobbies and they may be seen as unethical in the community.

Warzone 2 has got a lot of things right with its release. However, there have been some notable issues so far.

Despite the latest update, the Warzone 2 audio issues have yet to be fixed. Hopefully, these issues can be fixed sooner rather than later.
