There are plenty of ways to get around in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but none are as quick and efficient as fast traveling.

Fast traveling allows players to get from one side of the map to the other quickly. It has been a staple of open-world games for quite some time and remains a helpful feature here.

However, this is a feature that many may have missed in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This is especially true if they’re unfamiliar with what each icon on the map actually represents.

Of course, if you want to stay immersed in the Pokemon experience and don’t want to fast travel, you should learn how to ride Miraidon and Koraidon in Scarlet and Violet.

How to Unlock & Use Fast Travel in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet?

To fast travel in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, players need to select any of the travel points they’ve unlocked on the map and choose “Fly here”.

These fast travel points can usually be found near Pokemon Centres, towns, and cities that you’ve discovered. They look like white feathers against a blue background.

To unlock new fast travel locations, all you need to do is visit any key landmark in Paldea. These include the likes of Pokemon Centers, Watchtowers, and town gates.

Fast traveling in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is done via flying taxis. This is not unlike how it was done in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

It is completely free and can be done at any time from any location. However, the only exception is from inside of a building.
