This season, it’s all about Chrome. The Fortnite island is being taken over by the mysterious metal substance, and it’s up to the players to take on the incoming threat.

That said, there are plenty of ways to use the mysterious invasion to your advantage. Players can now turn into Chrome themselves, giving themself a speed boost, immunity to fire and fall damage, and even the ability to phase through walls.

To do all of that, you’ll need to know where to find the new Chrome Splash and how to use it! But once you’ve got your hands on one, you’ll never go without the item, so long as you use this trick.

Fastest Method to Farm Chrome Splash in Fortnite

To duplicate and farm Chrome Splash in the fastest manner possible, players need to follow these steps:

• Throw one Chrome Splash at a nearby tree or mushrooms and then damage it. The tree or mushroom will turn entirely to Chrome in-game.
• You can use an SMG to shoot the Chrome Tree or Mushroom, and this would result in dozens of Chrome Splash spawning.
• If you do not have an SMG at hand, you can also proceed to hit the Chrome plant with your pickaxe. This will cause more Chrome Splash canisters to spawn, albeit at a lower rate and amount.

Using this trick, you’ll be able to gather full stacks of splashes for your whole squad from just a single use of the item.
