Bombirdier has come to Pokemon GO, but adding it to your Pokedex isn’t easy!

As part of the Ultra Unlock: Paldea event, starting on September 10, 2023, Pokemon GO is adding plenty of new Pokemon from the Paldea region to the game. While the other new additions, Pawmi, Nymble, and Frigibax, are spawning in the wild, Bombirdier isn’t.

Even if you won’t find it while adventuring, you can still catch Bombirdier in Pokemon GO. However, you’ll need to be prepared to battle if you want to add it to your Pokedex!

How to Get Bombirdier in Pokemon GO

The only way to get Bombirdier in Pokemon GO is by defeating it in a Tier 3 Raid battle and then catching it.

Bombirdier is in 3-Star Raids from 10 AM local time on September 10 until 8 PM local time on September 15, 2023. This is during the Ultra Unlock: Paldea event.

There’s also some very exciting news for shiny hunters. Even if Bombirdier has only just come to Pokemon GO, any Bombirdier you encounter could be the shiny version!

Bombirdier Flying Over a City Pokemon GO

Even if Bombirdier is currently exclusive to Raids, it will likely spawn in the wild at a later date. This is the case with Druddigon, another Pokemon that was previously exclusive to 3-Star Raids and can now spawn in the wild.

However, it may be quite a long time before Bombirdier does spawn in the wild. Therefore, it is probably worth using a Raid Pass so you don’t have to wait!
