Hot Springs can be found in Steamy Springs, a new area of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 map dedicated to rest and relaxation.

Fortnite MEGA is introducing a variety of brand-new elements to the popular Battle Royale.

The stylish Japan-themed Chapter 4 Season 2 update is bringing everything from a futuristic city to motorcycles, and even a new anime protagonist to the game.

(Don’t miss out on unlocking Attack on Titan’s Eren Yeager in Fortnite here!)

But when it’s time to take a break from all the action, there’s no better place to relax than a Hot Spring in Fortnite MEGA.

All Hot Spring Locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

Hot Springs are exclusively located in the new Steamy Springs POI in Fortnite.

At Steamy Springs there are a number of Hot Springs that can be used. Both the individual bathhouse areas and the waters surrounding them count as Hot Springs.

Where to Find Steamy Springs Hot Springs

You can tell that an area is a Hot Spring as opposed to regular water by the color of the pool.

Hot Springs are lighter in color than regular lakes and rivers in Fortnite. This color difference is also visible on the game’s map, if you look closely enough.

What’s more, when you enter the water you’ll be able to see healing icons appear around your character indicating that you’re regaining lost health.

Besides the area around the bathhouse, more Hot Springs are available as you make your way up the hill to the west, in the area surrounded by Sakura trees.

However, the large lake at the very top of the hill is a darker blue color, indicating that it is NOT a Hot Spring.

What Do Hot Springs Do in Fortnite?

Hot Springs are relaxing new locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 that allow players to recover their health just by entering the water.

However, while Hot Springs will slowly recover HP (around 1-2 Health per second), they won’t regenerate shields whatsoever.

Like campfires, these are areas where players can rest up and heal without the use of items.

Hot Springs are only present in Steamy Springs, one of the new ‘traditional Japan’ areas of the map.

Speaking of new additions, Fortnite is adding Attack on Titan’s 3D Maneuver Gear this season – don’t miss out on using it!
