New rumors are suggesting that a Horizon game is in development for PSVR 2 and it sounds amazing!
Horizon Zero Dawn was one of the surprise successes of the PS4. Blending together a beautiful open world with mysterious and deadly bestial machines made for a totally unique game.
Therefore, it’s no surprise that developer Guerrilla Games is in the final stages of development for a sequel, Forbidden West. In fact, players can already pre-order Horizon Forbidden West.
However, the series is also going to be exploring VR in the near future, if this rumor is to be believed.
Horizon PSVR 2 Story, Main Character & Gameplay Details
First, Nick from the XboxEra podcast revealed that a Horizon project for PSVR 2 is in the works. It is supposedly a standalone project, but Nick doesn’t know whether it will be a fully-fledged game or just a smaller VR experience.
Since then, YouTube channel and PlayStation VR experts, PSVR Without Parole have revealed some of the rumors they have heard about the upcoming Horizon PSVR 2 game too.
Apparently, the game will not focus on series protagonist Aloy and instead, players will play as a male character. Their source also supposedly said that the detail in the game will be “staggering”.
What’s more, they also believe that the game will be PSVR 2 only, just as Xbox Era said. That means that you’ll need Sony’s high-tech new headset to play it.
Unfortunately, all of this information is just a rumor for now, so we will have to wait for Sony to confirm the potential Horizon PSVR 2 project soon.
This news could arrive at the leaked PlayStation Experience event happening in December.
