Honkai: Star Rail Update 1.2 promises to bring some of the most anticipated character banners since the game was released.
When it comes to gacha games, one of the most important factors for players is getting their favorite characters on their team.
With 1.2, Hoyoverse plans to bring one of the most popular members of the Stellaron Hunters as a playable character. Here is everything we know about the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail update.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2 Release Date & Countdown
Hoyoverse has not confirmed the release date of Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2 yet. However, if they keep to their current release schedule for banners, we’ll likely see the update on July 19, 2023.
This means there are until we see Honkai: Star Rail 1.2.
For now, players have much to look forward to with the Version 1.1 update and all the events it brings.
Upcoming Honkai: Star Rail 1.2 Character Banners
Hoyoverse has been showcasing the 1.2 characters through their Twitter account, and it looks like it’ll focus on two of the Stellaron Hunter’s strongest members, Kafka and Blade.
Kafka (5 Star) – The Nihility, Lightning
As a Nihility character, Kafka’s skills revolve around hindering the enemy characters. She does this by inflicting them with DoT (Damage Over Time).
DoT happens when she shocks enemies. This means they get damaged every time their turn comes up. It’s a powerful ability that blends in nicely with the upcoming character banner, Silver Wolf.
Blade (5 Star) – The Destruction, Wind
Blade is a character that follows the Destruction Path and is suited to be the Main DPS on any Honkai Star Rail team comp.
He uses the Wind element to deal attacks that take his health but deal powerful amounts of damage. His Skill and Ultimate both take away health, while his Talent can actually restore his health.
This fits with the ideas of the Destruction Path since they use powerful attacks that hurt them but make them stronger in the process.
If you place him in a team with a powerful Tank like March 7th or even the Fire Trailblazer, then Blade can truly shine.
Version 1.2 New 4 Star Characters
There is only one new 4-Star character that we know of so far in the Honkai Star Rail 1.2 update: Luka, a Physical element user on the Nihility path.
Luka (4 Star) – The Nihility, Physical
Luka is the latest character that Honkai Star Rail revealed, and he uses Physical attacks to create a Fissure in his enemies that inflicts damage over time.
He is part of the Nihility Path, so despite not packing too much power, he can quickly dispose of enemies because of his ability to inflict Fissures on them.
As of right now, there isn’t much more that we know about Honkai: Star Rail 1.2, but that’ll probably change once we receive the upcoming Version 1.1 Update.
