A new character is on its way to Honkai: Star Rail and Topaz is already drawing some attention way before her official reveal!

Honkai: Star Rail has no shortage of amazing characters and it seems that HoYoverse has already got a huge backlog of faces that are set to arrive in-game.

If you’re looking for a new Fire element character, Topaz could be exactly who you’re searching for.

Who Is Topaz in Honkai: Star Rail?

Topaz is a new 5-Star character who will allegedly be coming to Honkai: Star Rail in the future. At the time of this article’s writing, Topaz has not officially been revealed.

However, reliable leaker Mero has once again been able to showcase the upcoming release, with information courtesy of recent datamines.

What’s more, Topaz already appears in-game, as the face of the Trend of the Universal Market Lightcone.

Topaz is a follower of The Hunt Path, and wields the Fire element. She is an upcoming 5-Star character, suggesting that she’ll have her own banner in the future.

Not only does Topaz look to be the first new Fire character coming to Honkai: Star Rail, but she’s also the first fighter to bring her pet into battle!

Topaz Release Date in Honkai Star Rail

Right now, Topaz does not have an official release date in Honkai Star Rail, as the character hasn’t been revealed by HoYoverse.

However, if Topaz is indeed arriving in the game soon, it won’t be until after the V1.3 update, which is expected to release near the end of August 2023.

Currently, multiple leakers seem to be speculating that Topaz may arrive in the Honkai: Star Rail 1.4 update.

Skill

Topaz summons her special pet Warp Trotter to deal Fire damage to a single enemy, with a 100% chance to inflict Burn status for 2 turns.

Warp Trotter Skill

Select an enemy to perform a special attack.

Ultimate

Enhances the summoned Warp Trotter by increasing its Critical Rate for the next 2 attacks and increasing its Speed by 100 for 2 rounds. Enhanced attacks will deal extra Fire damage.

Talent

At the start of the battle, summons Warp Trotter with 90 Speed. When Topaz uses a Skill to target an enemy, the pet targets that enemy if possible (else another random enemy). When the creature attacks, it deals Fire damage and recovers 15 energy upon burning an enemy.

Technique

After using her Technique, Topaz releases her Warp Trotter from its bound status at the start of combat. The Warp Trotter will return to its bound status after taking one turn.
