The long-awaited Honkai Star Rail console release date is just around the corner, but fans can sign up for a PS5 Technical Test to play early!
If you’ve been jealously watching Honkai Star Rail’s PC players, or you’ve been playing on mobile and can’t wait to make the switch, the wait is almost over.
HoYoverse’s newest gatcha RPG will be making its debut on PS5 very soon. But before that, it’s time for a PS5 Technical Test to help PlayStation fans beta-test the game prior to its arrival.
How to Sign Up for Honkai Star Rail PS5 Technical Test
Honkai Star Rail fans can sign up for the PS5 Technical Test by following these steps:
- Head to the PlayStation 5 Technical Test Recruitment webpage
- Select Sign-Up
- Login to your HoYoverse account or select Register to make one
- Choose ‘Start’ and fill out the Technical Test survey
You will then be fully signed up for the Honkai Star Rail PS5 Technical Test! Pre-registration will only be available until August 27 at 7 PM PT / 10 PT ET.
Bear in mind that while recruitment is currently ongoing, the test itself won’t actually begin until September.
What’s more, not all players who sign up are guaranteed to receive an invite to the Technical Test – and email invites will only go out after registration closes.
Honkai Star Rail PS5 Technical Test Start Date
The Honkai Star Rail PS5 Technical Test will kick off on September 3, 2023 at 7 PM PT / 10 PT ET. Players can sign up and pre-register for the test right now.
Once the 30 GB install is downloaded, players will be able to experience the same content that is currently available on the PC and mobile versions of the game.
What’s more, crossplay and cross-progression will be fully enabled. You’ll be able to log in with your HoYoverse account on any device, to pick up where you left off.
A PlayStation Plus membership is not required for the Honkai Star Rail Technical Test.
