Honkai: Star Rail is finally releasing, but is the new miHoYo game coming to PS4 and PS5 consoles?
Those who played Genshin Impact will know that the developer’s previous game launched on PS4, alongside mobile devices and PC right from the get-go.
But this time, PlayStation fans will have to wait.
Is Honkai Star Rail on PS4 / PS5?
No, Honkai: Star Rail is not currently available on PS4 or PS5 consoles. It will launch only on iOS, Android, and Windows PC.
However, PlayStation versions of the game are confirmed to be coming at a later date.

Honkai: Star Rail PlayStation Release Date
There is no release date currently announced for Honkai: Star Rail on PS4 and PS5 devices. Currently, the game’s website simply reports that a PlayStation version is ‘Coming Soon’.
In the meantime, all users can earn some exclusive in-game rewards in Honkai: Star Rail now, no matter their platform of choice!
It’s hard to estimate exactly how long it’ll take miHoYo to develop a PlayStation port for the game, however we don’t expect it to be a lengthy wait.
After Genshin Impact’s September 28, 2020 release, fans had to wait exactly 7 months until the PS5 version of the game was up and running on April 28, 2021.
Of course, that was when there was already a PS4 version to build off, so it may be closer to a year-long wait this time around. That said, it’s likely that miHoYo is already well into development for the PS4/PS5 release, in which case we won’t have to wait long at all.
