Jing Yuan Banner Release Date in Honkai: Star Rail
The Honkai: Star Rail banner featuring Jing Yuan is scheduled to go live on May 17, 2023. This will be the second and final major banner in V1.0.
Jing Yuan’s banner ‘Swirl of Heavenly Spear’ will be available until June 7, 2023. At that point, we’ll likely get the 1.1 update which is set to introduce some fan-favorite characters.
Thanks to leaks, we even know which character banners will be dropping in Honkai: Star Rail V1.1, after we say goodbye to Jing Yuan.
How to Get Jing Yuan in Honkai: Star Rail
The only way to get Jing Yuan in Honkai: Star Rail is to use Star Rail Special Passes on his banner when it arrives on May 17.
There will be a 50% chance that players will get Jing Yuan as their first 5-Star pull when rolling his banner. Should you lose the 50/50 and get a different 5-Star character from the banner, your next 5-Star drop is guaranteed to be Jing Yuan.

Jing Yuan looks to be one of the best Lightning element characters in Honkai: Star Rail, capable of massive damage to multiple targets. Here are his abilities:

| Talent | Prana Extirpated | Summons Lightning-Lord at the start of the battle. Lightning-Lord has 60 base SPD and 3 base attack count, and its attacks are considered follow-up attacks. Each count of Lightning-Lord’s attack deals Lightning DMG equal to 33%-82.5% of Jing Yuan’s ATK to a single enemy, whose adjacent targets also receive Lightning DMG equal to 25% of the DMG dealt to the main target. The Lightning-Lord’s attack count can reach a max of 10. Every time Lightning-Lord’s attack count increases by 1, its SPD increases by 10. After the action ends, SPD and attack count return to their base values. When Jing Yuan is knocked down, the Lightning-Lord will disappear. When Jing Yuan is affected by Crowd Control debuff, the Lightning-Lord is unable to take action. |

Who Is Jing Yuan in Honkai: Star Rail?
Jing Yuan (AKA the Dozing General) is the general of the Xianzhou Alliance’s Cloud Knights as well as one of the Six Charioteers of the Xianzhou Luofu.
While he once tore apart battlefields, nowadays he has turned his attention to planning for the future of the Luofu.
Due to his careful management, the Xianzhou have enjoyed many years of peace.
