Honkai: Star Rail is celebrating a tremendously successful launch with today’s Departure Festival and it’s also got a handful of free Star Rail Special Passes to distribute to players!
After revealing that over 20 million players have already downloaded Honkai: Star Rail, HoYoverse has revealed that a special live stream will be going live today to celebrate the success.
Here’s how to tune in and what you’ll receive for doing so:
What Is the Honkai: Star Rail Departure Festival?
The Honkai: Star Rail Departure Festival is a special live stream to commemorate the outstanding early performance of the game on all platforms.
HoYoverse reveals that the live stream will feature a ‘Stellaris Symphony’ performance, as well as offering some free goodies for players.
All Honkai: Star Rail players will receive 10 Star Rail Special Passes, free of charge, on April 30, 2023.
These Gold Passes will allow users to roll for Seele in the current banner – or save their tickets for Honkai: Star Rail’s future banners.
What Time is the Honkai Star Rail Departure Festival Stream?
According to the official HoYOverse announcement, the Honkai: Star Rail Departure Festival will take place at 19:30 UTC+8 on April 30, 2023.

How to Claim 10 Free Pulls – Star Rail Special Pass Reward
All Honkai: Star Rail players will receive the 10 free Star Rail Special Passes whether they tune into the Departure Festival or not.
The Express Crew will send out the gift via in-game mail but players need to have reached Trailblaze Level 10 or higher to receive it.
Simply open the menu and select the Mail icon to find your reward. Ours has already come through but other players may need to wait a short time before the gift arrives:
The Star Rail Special Pass reward will be available to claim until June 6, 2023.
Those in the USA where the time zone has the stream starting bright and early can rest easy knowing that attendance isn’t mandatory.
The Star Rail Pass rewards are not given out as drops and will be gifted directly to all account holders at some point on April 30.
