After a year of waiting, we finally have a new Hogwarts Legacy State of Play providing an update on the upcoming title.
It’s fair to say that Hogwarts Legacy is one of 2022’s most anticipated titles, yet we know very little about the upcoming project.
Published by Portkey Games, Hogwarts Legacy is a return to the Wizarding World for the first time in years for gamers. Although Harry Potter games were common when the movies were releasing regularly, it’s been a while since then.
Now, an upcoming open-world RPG takes us back to Hogwarts, giving players freedom to explore the castle, take lessons, and become the wizard they’ve always wanted to be. There’s even a morality system, allowing you to delve into the Dark Arts or fight against them.
But this isn’t the only game based around a popular movie franchise in development now!
Hogwarts Legacy Gameplay – PlayStation State of Play
It’s time to return to the Wizarding World in Hogwarts Legacy, with the game’s gameplay debuting in a March 17 State of Play.
Just revealed by the official PlayStation Twitter, we’re getting another State of Play dropping this week!
In case you missed it, we just recently had a rather disappointing March 2022 State of Play. And while some reveals were interesting, it lacked the oomph that a lot of fans were hoping for.
Now, it seems that Sony is hoping to live up to expectations, with an ‘extended first look’ at Hogwarts Legacy gameplay on Thursday, March 17. A new blog post reveals that over 14 minutes of Hogwarts Legacy gameplay will be shown off, as well as additional information from Avalanche Studio.
The new State of Play will be broadcast at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 9 PM GMT, live on YouTube and Twitch.
In Hogwarts Legacy, players will be able to take control of a Hogwarts student back in the 1800s. You’ll be able to master spells, brew potions, tame fantastic beasts, and more.
The upcoming State of Play will be the first we’ve seen of Hogwarts Legacy since its delay to 2022. We’re already eager to pick our Hogwarts house and begin daily life as a student, something that has always been a dream for Harry Potter game fans.
And while you won’t need a next-gen console to enjoy Hogwarts Legacy, we recommend you get an upgrade. Here is all the latest information we have to help you get a PS5 or Xbox Series X.
Hogwarts Legacy will release in 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
