Hogwarts Legacy Review Embargo Date & Time

The review embargo for Hogwarts Legacy lifts soon, revealing if this wizarding adventure is worth picking up.

Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most anticipated games of 2023. It takes players to Hogwarts, a magical world many have dreamed of exploring for years.

But before it releases, players have a chance to see what review critics thought of the wizarding world and if it’s worth the day-one price.

When Does the Hogwarts Legacy Review Embargo End?

The Hogwarts Legacy review embargo lifts on February 6, 2023, at 4:00 AM PT/7:00 AM ET/12 PM GMT.

With the embargo lifted, players can see reviews and opinions about Hogwarts Legacy one day before early access starts.

This is helpful, especially when looking into one of the more expensive editions of Hogwarts Legacy. Although, any fan of the wizarding world will likely want to check this adventure out.

Players have already seen a deep dive into the Room of Requirement and even had a chance to see a few of the spells they can use.

But one thing that tends to hold releases back despite the content is the performance and glitches. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem Hogwarts Legacy won’t require too much load to run properly on PC.

Metacritic / OpenCritic Score Date

The Hogwarts Legacy Metacritic and OpenCritic scores will be revealed on February 6 alongside the embargo lift.

We predict it will score higher than 80 due to the sheer popularity of the franchise and how Avalanche Software’s title is shaping up so far.
