What Happens to Henry in The Last of Us?
Unfortunately, Henry dies during the events of The Last of Us. After escaping from Pittsburgh, Henry, his younger brother Sam, Joel, and Ellie find refuge in an abandoned house.
However, Sam, having been bitten earlier, becomes Infected. Henry shoots his younger brother to prevent him from hurting Joel and Ellie, then shoots himself out of rage and grief.
His suicide is one in a long line of unfortunate deaths in The Last of Us. In fact, another beloved character has a similar fate not long before in one of the best episodes in the series.
