New Hand Cannon Exploit Is Easiest Way to Beat The Tomb Boss in Black Ops 6 Zombies

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has a new Zombies map in Season 2, and players quickly discovered that exploiting the Hand Cannon is the fastest way to beat its challenging boss fight.

If you’ve tried your hands at The Tomb’s Main Quest Easter Egg, you’ve probably experienced just how brutal the new questline can be.

Although reaching the map’s final boss is relatively simple, actually beating the Easter Egg fight is extremely challenging.

Thankfully, those struggling with the hardest boss in Black Ops 6 Zombies can now make use of a new exploit involving the Hand Cannon to insta-kill some of the encounter’s most challenging enemies!

How the Hand Cannon Trick Works

The Black Ops 6 Zombies Hand Cannon exploit is only possible on The Tomb map, as it involves a glitch using the Staff of Ice Wonder Weapon.

The glitch tricks the system into thinking the player is using a Hand Cannon Scorestreak, which scales in damage the later you are in the game.

In reality, the player is only holding the Hand Cannon, while the active damage the game is detecting comes from the Staff of Ice’s charged attack.

How to Use the Hand Cannon Exploit

1. First, load into Black Ops 6 Zombies on The Tomb.
2. Then, follow the on-screen directions until you arrive in the Dark Aether.

3. From there, you’ll need to get your hands on the Ice Staff Wonder Weapon. There are two ways to collect the Wonder Weapon:
   • You can craft the Ice Staff in The Tomb Main Quest.
   • Or use the Wonderbar! GobbleGum to ensure that your next Mystery Box pull is a Wonder Weapon.

4. Next, follow our guide to upgrade the Staff of Ice into Ull’s Arrow.
   • The staff will now gain the Ice Storm special attack, which players can use by holding down R2/RT/Left Click.
5. Finally, craft the Hand Cannon Scorestreak from the Crafting Table for 1250 Salvage.

Now that you have all the necessary items, here’s how to use the exploit:

• Equip Ull’s Arrow and hold down primary fire (R2/RT/Left Click) to charge Ice Storm.
• Shoot the Ice Storm at the ground and all nearby enemies will receive damage.
• While the storm is active, pull out your Hand Cannon (D-Pad Down/3).
• Any enemy in the storm will now take massive damage, as the game believes they are being shot by the Hand Cannon!

This super useful trick can be used to eliminate boss zombies in seconds, and it’s particularly useful during The Tomb’s Main Quest boss fight!

After all, in later rounds of the boss encounter, players will be chased down by powerful elite enemies who hold a duplicate of the Sentinel Artifact. With this exploit, those extra-strong undead will immediately be eliminated, allowing you to destroy their artifact with ease.
