Halo Infinite Xbox Series X & Elite Controller Orders Canceled at Microsoft & GameStop

If you’re a lucky new Halo Infinite Xbox Series X owner, don’t count your blessings just yet – orders are being canceled at a number of stores.

Yesterday was the release date of the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X. What’s more, it was also the surprise release date of Halo Infinite’s permanent Beta period!

But after months of waiting, some fans are getting the most disappointing news possible on launch day. Recently, we saw Walmart canceling Halo Infinite Xbox Series X orders.

Now, it seems that the major retailer isn’t the only one resorting to cancelations.

Retailers Canceling Halo Infinite Xbox Series X Orders

For all those still waiting for their orders, be aware that some retailers appear to be canceling Halo Infinite Xbox Series X shipments.

We recently saw huge queues outside Best Buy to grab a last-minute Halo Xbox pre-order. The advantage of queueing up is that fans were able to take their Halo Xbox orders with them that same day.

And there’s another retailer with Halo Infinite Xbox Series X consoles in-store now, reports indicate.

But for those who managed to place a pre-order, the news isn’t quite as good. If you’re yet to hear about your console shipping, it might not hurt to be on the lookout for other options.

GameStop Halo Xbox Series X Canceled

Twitter user XboxGamer6242 reports that GameStop has just canceled their order, seemingly at the last minute. And this isn’t the only fan that’s suffering from cancelations.

Microsoft Halo Infinite Xbox Series X & Elite Wireless Controller Canceled

User ThatFakeTracey indicates that their Halo Infinite Wireless Elite controller got canceled at 8 PM last night by Microsoft itself.

What’s particularly frustrating about this case is that it leaves the gamer with almost no opportunity to buy the Limited Edition hardware somewhere else!

And Microsoft’s new cancelations aren’t done yet. Twitter user CapForbidme was devastated to learn at 2 AM in the morning that their pre-order was canceled.

What’s more upsetting is that their Halo Infinite Xbox Series X was actually pre-ordered all the way back in August.

If you’re still on the hunt, these stores should be restocking the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X between November 16-21.

Meanwhile, it appears that fans aren’t happy with the Halo Infinite progression system at all.

And other users want big changes to the classic Halo energy sword in Infinite!

I think you need to tell readers "why" orders are being cancelled; this article doesn't give much info.
