A new datamine of Halo Infinite Season 2 appears to reveal a ranked King of the Hill playlist, as well as returning game modes.
Halo Infinite Season 2 marketing is beginning to ramp up, but so are the number of leaks coming out of the popular title.
Recently, we finally got the reveal trailer for Halo Infinite Season 2 – Lone Wolves. And while it’s been a wait for content, perhaps the upcoming update will finally bring back the hype that Infinite deserves.
You can already see both new Halo Infinite maps coming in Season 2, thanks to recent leaks. But it looks as though 343 is holding back some information from the fans at present.
All New Game Modes Coming to Halo Infinite Season 2
It’s looking as though Halo Infinite might have more game modes than 343 is admitting in Season 2. According to leaks, we’re getting at least a couple of extra additions.
In a Season 2 blog, 343 Industries revealed that King of the Hill and Attrition will be returning to Halo Infinite in its May update. But, going off recent leaks, that’s not all gamers should expect.
Allegedly, not only are we getting King of the Hill in the new update, but the game mode will also have a ranked playlist. Players should expect BR loadouts, friendly-fire, and disabled motion trackers.
In addition, the dataminer reveals that Land Grab is also coming to the game. If true, this popular mode will return from the glory days of Halo 2, challenging players to contest and capture various areas around a map.
In Land Grab, areas cannot be taken back after being captured. Therefore, players will need to work together carefully in a series of rounds to win.
Something that’s also exciting about Halo Infinite Season 2 is that its Battle Pass looks incredible already. Here’s a sneak peek of what to expect in the second Halo Infinite Battle Pass!
Meanwhile, fans believe that this major Halo villain is returning in Infinite Season 2!
But with the game’s player base currently at an all-time low, we can only hope that Season 2 brings enough to revive the title.
