Halo Infinite Release Date Revealed on Microsoft Store

After months of waiting, we finally have the announcement of the Halo Infinite release date, even before Gamescom 2021.

It’s an exciting time of year for announcements, as games studios begin heavy marketing for their upcoming releases. And where better to show off your work than at Gamescom, an annual event showcasing the best upcoming titles and more.

Kicking things off, Xbox’s Gamescom stream had some big news for us. But despite getting more details about many of Xbox’s biggest upcoming titles, Halo was notably missing.

Recently, we’ve been getting incredible new leaks for Halo Infinite. For instance, every gun, weapon, and grenade in Halo Infinite just leaked!

On top of that, we’ve got new screenshots of never-seen-before Halo Infinite maps.

And there are even game files alluding to the possibility of a Halo Infinite Battle Royale mode!

Halo Infinite Release Date Leak

But now, after months of waiting, a new leak reports that Halo Infinite’s release date is December 8.

According to a new listing on the official Microsoft Store page earlier today, Halo Infinite will release on December 8. Although the change was quickly reversed, it garnered some attention before it was taken down.

On top of that, one Taiwanese retailer is also reporting a Halo Infinite release date of December 8. However, that same page still reports that Halo will release alongside Forge mode – something that is no longer the case.

Although Halo Infinite will be live on the date above, it may not feel like a complete package. After all, Co-op Campaign and Forge mode will be missing from the game at launch.

Recently, the team at 343 saw fit to delay both features, with promises to drop them in future Halo Infinite seasonal updates. But one analyst doesn’t think that the bad news ends there…

According to new reports, Halo Infinite will have an episodic campaign, releasing in chapters throughout the game’s lifespan. If this is true, at least our new Halo will give us something to look forward to after launch.
