Halo Infinite Reaches ‘Very Positive’ Steam Reviews, Despite Issues

Halo Infinite has reached the ‘very positive’ review score on Steam despite many fans having huge problems with the game!

The Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta has been out for just over two weeks, but it still remains fairly divisive in terms of fan opinion.

The gameplay is almost unanimously praised (apart from the hit detection and melee issues) but the game still has many problems outside of this.

For instance, the slow Battle Pass leveling in Halo Infinite as well as the overpriced armor customization microtransactions have been annoying fans.

Despite these issues though, Halo Infinite has just reached a significant review score milestone on Steam. Fortunately for developer 343 Industries and fans alike, the majority of reviews have been good!

Halo Infinite Has Over 80% Positive Reviews

Following the news that many fans wish that Halo Infinite wasn’t free-to-play, the reviews for the game have gotten an unexpected boost.

A player on the Halo Infinite subreddit noticed that Halo Infinite has climbed to a ‘very positive’ review rating on Steam. This means that over 80% of players reviewed the game positively.

This is extremely impressive for a number of reasons. Firstly, because almost 80,000 players have reviewed the game, so it isn’t just diehard Halo fans submitting reviews – the average gamer also seems to be enjoying Halo Infinite a lot too.

Secondly, fans have had many problems with the design choices in the game, primarily microtransactions. After all, it costs over $1000 to buy every item in Halo Infinite.

This has prompted outraged players to refuse to buy items from the Halo Infinite shop.

Therefore, players must really love the gameplay to still give the game a good review.

Expect the Halo Infinite Steam reviews to get even more positive soon too. This is because developer 343 Industries is making huge changes to the Battle Pass XP and leveling in Halo Infinite.
