Halo Infinite players want a way to counter the extremely powerful Energy Sword – the solution could be to buff another weapon!
Gamers are absolutely loving the classic arena shooter gameplay in Halo Infinite right now. However, developer 343 hasn’t got the weapon balancing quite right.
Not only are players complaining about by far the worst gun in Halo Infinite right now, but they also have a problem with the Energy Sword.
Yes, this iconic weapon is too powerful right now. Although, Halo fans have come up with a solution to counter the Energy Sword.
Halo Infinite Needs Bulldog Shotgun Buff to Counter Energy Sword
Despite melee and enemy collision in Halo Infinite having major issues, the Energy Sword has still risen to the top of the best weapons in the game. Players think it needs to be taken down a peg or two.
The Energy Sword has been a controversial topic of conversation on the Halo subreddit at the moment. Players love using it but hate being on the sharp end of one.
This has prompted a great suggestion from the community to make the power weapon more balanced. Although, fans are even more desperate for a huge change to the Halo Infinite item shop.
In previous Halo games, shotguns were able to kill in one shot up close. This made them a good counter against Energy Swords.
However, the Bulldog in Halo Infinite will always take two or even three shots to kill, meaning you do stand a chance against an enemy spartan wielding Energy Sword.
Therefore, Halo players have decided that the best way to balance the Energy Sword isn’t to ner it, but to buff the Bulldog. If players have a readily-available counter to the energy sword that still requires some skill to use then everyone can be happy.
Let’s hope that 343 Industries listens to the fans and buffs the Bulldog so it can kill in one shot.
Meanwhile, players are currently trying to unlock all of the rewards in the Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai event. Although, the event hasn’t gone down too well.
In fact, most Halo Infinite players think that the Fracture: Tenrai event is a major disappointment.
