The new limited-time Cyber Showdown event has finally arrived in Halo Infinite and it could be the best one so far!
Halo Infinite players always look forward to in-game events thanks to the new rewards and limited-time game modes on offer. However, not all of them have been a complete success.
Many players were disappointed with the lack of content in Halo Infinite’s Winter Contingency event while Fracture: Tenrai has been divisive too.
Developer 343 Industries added some great new samurai-themed rewards to Fracture: Tenrai recently, but many players are still disappointed by the event’s microtransactions.
Luckily, the new Cyber Showdown event has gone down very well with fans – they absolutely love it!
Fans Think Cyber Showdown is the Best Halo Infinite Event So Far
Cyber Showdown has kicked off 6 weeks of non-stop events in Halo Infinite multiplayer and there couldn’t be a better way to do so!
Players on the Halo subreddit have been quick to praise the event for a number of reasons.
Firstly, the new Attrition game mode adds a high-stakes twist to the classic Slayer game mode. This is a welcome addition to the expanding roster of modes in Infinite.
Plus, it has got players excited about the possibility of a Halo Infinite Battle Royale game mode by adding BR staples like revives and a shrinking playable area.
Additionally, players love all of the free rewards you can unlock in Cyber Showdown. This includes armor effects, armor coatings, and, importantly, no junk like XP gains or challenge swaps.
However, it’s not all perfect. There is one issue with the Cyber Showdown event and it has to do with the rewards.
Players have noticed that there’s a major problem with the Neon Hawk and Neon Screen armor effects but this should hopefully be fixed soon.
Despite this, players still absolutely love Cyber Showdown in Halo Infinite and hope for more events like this in the future.
Luckily, we already know about the next one. Here’s everything we know so far about the Halo Infinite Tactical Ops event.
In other news, not everything is well with Halo Infinite. Hackers are ruining the Tactical Slayer game mode for everyone.
Luckily, developer 343 Industries is on the case. A huge Halo Infinite anti-cheat update is arriving soon.
