Halo Infinite Season 2 is kicking off its Fracture event today, but what time does Entrenched begin and what’s up for grabs?
In case you weren’t aware, Halo Infinite aims to host Fracture events with each season. These unique events offer a new game mode to try out, and exciting rewards to unlock.
All unlockables in Fracture events aim to differentiate themselves from the Halo canon just a little. Last season, Fracture: Tenrai offered up unique Samurai-inspired cosmetics.
This time, Fracture: Entrenched is inspired by the World Wars, as well as a futuristic dieselpunk aesthetic. Although the armor looks a little clunkier than what Spartans are used to, it certainly appears to offer significant protection.
Here are all the events dropping in Halo Infinite Season 2, including Entrenched, Alpha Pack, and The Yappening!
Halo Infinite Fracture: Entrenched Start Time
Halo Infinite’s second Fracture event is about to drop, with Entrenched going live at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST.
From that point on, players will be able to jump into games of Halo Infinite’s new Land Grab mode to earn exclusive items. These special unlocks will only be present while Entrenched is live, but the event isn’t going anywhere fast.
Although May 24-May 30 is the official event schedule provided by 343 Industries, we doubt it’s the only time Entrenched will surface.
After all, now that Halo Infinite Season 2 is 6 months long (much to fans’ disappointment), Entrenched will likely be back throughout the rest of the year.
If you miss out or are unable to earn all the rewards this week, don’t worry. There’s always next time.
Fracture: Entrenched Game Mode & Rewards
This time around, there’s a new armor core for Halo Infinite fans to unlock. Eaglestrike will make its debut during Fracture: Entrenched, and it looks amazing.
That said, there’s plenty of customization to be done where the core is concerned. Rank up through the event pass to unlock all these cosmetics coming to Fracture: Entrenched!
With 30 tiers to unlock, there’s plenty to get stuck into. Let’s just hope you like Land Grab, a game mode that aims to mix Strongholds with King of the Hill.
Each Land Grab round gives players a variety of locations to capture, but each location cannot be taken back once secured. To win, a team must hold the majority of all points, which leads to some interesting team play.
In other news, we’re about to get a major Halo Infinite update that fixes gun jamming, skill jumps and more! Plus, in case you haven’t tried it out yet, Last Spartan Standing is now available on new maps.
And if you want to look further into the future, why not take an early look at all Weekly Ultimate rewards coming to Halo Infinite Season 2?
