How to Double Jump in Halo Infinite

There’s a new trick with the Cindershot that allows players to double jump in Halo Infinite. Here’s how it’s done:

  • First, get hold of the Cindershot in your online match.
  • Then, bounce your shot off the ceiling above the ledge you want to jump to.
  • After bouncing, Cindershot pulses will explode with a slight gravitational pull.
  • This will let you jump up into the explosion to get pulled up higher than usually possible.
  • Time it just right in certain locations around Halo Infinite’s maps to effectively double jump!

Obviously this is quite a specific trick that you won’t be using in every game, but it’s definitely worth knowing. After all, in the video below by StandardAce, it’s clear that this additional movement option will be quite advantageous when utilized correctly.

Of course, you’re also at risk of taking a full shield’s worth of damage from your own shot. Performing the double jump at the wrong moment could be quite the risk.

Meanwhile, don’t forget to claim these new Halo Infinite Perks on Xbox Game Pass!

And we’re just around the corner from the Halo Infinite Cyber Showdown event, which appears to be bringing King of the Hill and more!

Thankfully, a Halo Infinite content roadmap is also in the works, along with a fix for the annoying Desync issue.

Plus, check out these beautiful new Halo Infinite armor effects likely coming to the game next week.

But right now, Halo Infinite players are fed up with ‘terrible’ weekly rewards, and they’re making their voices heard.
