Halo Infinite Cyber Showdown Event Challenges Should Be Separate From Battle Pass

The Halo Infinite Cyber Showdown event is finally here, but players have some complaints about the challenges.

If you’re back in Halo Infinite this week, it’s likely that you’re trying to grind out some of the cool new Cyber-inspired cosmetics.

With more neon than you can shake a stick at, there’s plenty to love about the Cyber Showdown rewards. In fact, player response to Cyber Showdown has been incredibly positive, as fans love both the game mode and free rewards.

It helps that Cyber Showdown is sticking around for 2 weeks, giving players plenty of time to complete their challenges. And all Cyber Showdown Event Challenges can be completed in the very first day too, meaning no more waiting around!

But there is one issue with the new system. And no, we’re not talking about the fact that the Cyber Showdown Mohawk is misaligned

Halo Infinite Event Punishes Players for Completing the Battle Pass

In what was perhaps a grand oversight by 343 Industries, Halo Infinite’s new event punishes players who completed the Battle Pass.

Halo Infinite Season 2 is still around 4 months away, but there are more than a few fans who are already done with the Battle Pass. And for those players, the Cyber Showdown event is more of a grind than it is for most.

After all, Halo Infinite Event Challenges are often hiding behind Weekly missions. But completing those regular Weekly Challenges will offer no XP or progression to players with a complete Battle Pass.

Now, players are asking for the Event Challenges to be separate from Battle Pass tasks. However, this might make Cyber Showdown a little too easy to grind out.

“I just hate I’m fully done with the pass and all my xp goes no where,” Reddit user Ecurtis3 complaints. “But hopefully that’s fixed later on”

If 343 listens to player feedback once again, the developer will need to tweak its events to keep the grind satisfying.

Meanwhile, Halo Infinite just got some amazing Store changes that actually have fans happy for once. After boycotting the store for some time, players seem more willing to spend money in-game now.

However, new statistics reveal just how many Halo Infinite players were spending money even before the changes!

After Fracture: Tenrai recently had the worst microtransactions yet, we’re excited to see how the Samurai Store looks when it returns very soon.

343 told these idiots that season 2 would start in May. There was no hurry to finish that battlepass, but they still complained about the progression being slow. IT'S SLOW ON PURPOSE YOU IDIOTS! WHO WANTS TO FINISH A BATTLEPASS IN LESS THAN A MONTH WHEN THE NEXT ONE DROPS 5 MONTHS? I have been playing since the game released and I still have nkt finished the battlepass even with all the extra XP 343 is throwing around. The players should have paced themselves and accepted the slow progression. That way they would have had 5 months of progression instead of nothing for the entire time. I did not understand the hurry to finish it because the battlepass items were not that great anyway, so I didn't get the reason to complain.
