Halo Infinite Could Get Emotes Soon, According to Data Mine

A data mine has revealed that a brand-new feature could be coming to Halo Infinite, but would you want to see intro emotes in the game?

At the core of Halo Infinite multiplayer is some great gameplay, but many fans still feel like the game is missing some features. Luckily, developer 343 Industries has been working to add more content to the game ever since it came out.

With Halo Infinite Season 2’s release date fast approaching, fans are excited for all of the new content coming with that.

This includes two stunning new Halo Infinite multiplayer maps as well as the cool cosmetics in the Season 2 Battle Pass.

However, it seems like 343 Industries is working on much more than we know about already. That is if this data mine is correct.

Leak Reveals Intro Emotes Could Come to Halo Infinite

The biggest Halo leak recently revealed that a Halo Infinite Battle Royale could release this year but a more recent data mine could have revealed a feature that will arrive much sooner than that.

Data miner HaloDotAPI, has found a line of code within the Halo Infinite game files that refer to an ‘IntroEmotePath’.

Of course, this ‘intro emote’ likely refers to some kind of gesture your Spartan would do at the start of a Halo Infinite multiplayer match. This would make sense and would be an evolution of the stances that are already in the game.

It’s not known when this feature will arrive, or if it will ever make its way to Halo Infinite. However, this line of code is apparently new, indicating that 343 is at least thinking about adding this feature.

Therefore, don’t be surprised if we see intro emotes in the Halo Infinite Season 2 Battle Pass and Item Shop.

What do you think about the possibility of having intro emotes in Halo Infinite? This is another change that fans who wish Halo Infinite wasn’t free-to-play probably won’t like!

In other news, 343 Industries is hiring developers to make Halo Infinite Forge mode. This makes sense as a leak has revealed that Forge will have loads of different game modes and biomes.

Plus, another data mine has revealed new features for the rumored Halo BR. Apparently, Halo Infinite Battle Royale will have drop pods and respawns!
