Players can’t get enough of Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta, which was released suddenly to celebrate Xbox’s 20th anniversary. However, fans have been vocal about wanting the co-op Campaign mode to play with their friends.

Recently, we got the disappointing news that Halo Infinite won’t launch with a co-op Campaign mode. Although the December 8 release date will bring a fully-fledged single-player experience, it won’t be playable with a friend.

Right now, Campaign co-op is scheduled to release alongside Halo Infinite Season 2 in May 2022. But we’ve got some more news about the mode that suggests otherwise.

According to a new interview with Eurogamer, Joseph Staten, one of the lead developers of the Halo series, shared some interesting insights for the campaign co-op in Halo Infinite.

“Well, the good news is that campaign co-op has been playable for some time. It’s playable now. But the goal is we want it to be a great experience. We don’t just want to ship a campaign co-op that barely works. We want to ship a campaign co-op that’s stable, that’s robust, that has the features players expect.”

While this might give fans some hope, 343 Industries has yet to confirm the release date for the co-op in Campaign mode.

For now, the developers need to address and fix some serious issues plaguing Halo Infinite.

The interview with Eurogamer provided players and fans with some great things to be excited about in the future. But right now, players want to select the game modes instead of queuing for quick play.

Meanwhile, make sure you run the game on the best Halo Infinite settings for high FPS and smooth performance.
