Halo Infinite Cheating Fix Coming in February 2022

Halo Infinite cheaters are running rampant, but a fix for cheating should be arriving in February 2022.

One of the biggest issues with launching a Free to Play title is that it attracts cheaters in droves. Just take a look at Warzone which, despite its new anti-cheat, has an influx of hackers ruining the game.

Since launch, we’ve seen more than a handful of cheaters appear in Halo Infinite too. And players are beginning to get tired of encountering malicious users in-game.

We have a working anti-cheat down as one of the 10 biggest changes Halo Infinite needs in 2022.

And now it seems like 343 Industries is listening to feedback once again.

Halo Infinite Anti-Cheat Arriving Mid-February 2022?

343 Industries is teasing a new fix for Halo Infinite cheating issues that should arrive in February 2022.

It’s official: Halo Infinite’s developer is back from its holiday break and it’s already hard at work improving the game. Now, Halo Community Director Brian Jarrard is confirming that 343 is looking to fix the Halo Infinite cheater problem for good.

Right now, the Halo Infinite team has a patch ready to fix Big Team Battle games, something that fans have been sorely missing. And once that is done with testing, it seems that 343 Industries is making Halo Infinite’s anti-cheat a top priority.

“The team has been working on a patch for mid-Feb that looks to address [cheating] and other things, and we’ll have more details to come as we get closer to release.”

It seems that we can expect a major Halo Infinite update in February 2022, and fixing cheating will be a big part of it. However, the team is also working hard to ensure that “no negative impacts or regressions” arrive with its biggest update yet.

What’s more, it seems that a Halo Infinite roadmap is finally coming soon, something that the game desperately needs. Let’s just hope that the major desync issues get a fix in Halo Infinite by February too.

Right now, leakers tell us that Halo Infinite won’t get new Multiplayer maps until Season 2. But given the major update’s delay to May 2022, that’s quite the wait for content.

We’re already getting new Halo Infinite Season 2 cosmetic leaks and we can’t wait to get our hands on the new armor. But it’s going to be a stretch to make it there with no new additions to Multiplayer.

It's half way through February AND WE HAVE NO WORD ON FIXING THE CHEATS. Half or more of the players left (The ones that don't cheat left) use wall hacks and especially aimbots. It's getting really hard to even tie. And these are mediocre players. Ban them! Ban every one of them!
