A new discovery found within the Halo Infinite Technical Build may have potentially revealed a Battle Royale mode coming to the game.
Whilst Halo fans are busy getting hands-on with the very first Halo Infinite Technical Build, there are others eagerly trying to dig up clues about the much-anticipated game.
Interestingly, Halo Infinite does still not have a release date. Although Phil Spencer recently revealed why Infinite is still without an official release date, nevertheless fans are expecting great things after such a long wait.
However, many have already decided that a Battle Royale mode for Halo Infinite is in fact something that isn’t likely to make an appearance.
In fact, NICKMERCS has even called Halo Infinite’s lack of Battle Royale, ‘the biggest missed opportunity. Therefore it’s clear that this is a mode many want to see, given it has proved an extremely successful formula.
Despite this, we do still have details regarding a Battle Royale experience for Halo Infinite. It appears that 343 Industries want to build something new and from the ground up instead.
However, the classic Battle Royale mode may be coming to Halo Infinite after a new and exciting data-mining discovery.
Halo Infinite Battle Royale Mode Voice Line Leak
Whilst the Halo Infinite’s Technical Preview Build is ongoing, keen fans have been able to discern a ton of information from within the files themselves.
Although 343 Industries have declared they have accidentally left spoilerific story files in their technical preview build. This hasn’t stopped fans from delving even deeper to see what they can find.
However, it’s important to note that data-mined information can be unreliable. Sometimes it can be the case that these files are unused or even scrapped content.
However, with this in mind, a voice line has been found which hints at a Battle Royale mode. Interestingly, fans have been able to locate a sound clip, accompanied by the iconic Halo announcer voice.
Whilst we still know very little about Halo Infinite, we do know about the types of weapons available in the game.
And although the recent Halo Infinite Livestream revealed a great deal about the game, many mysteries are left to be uncovered.
Whether Halo Infinite will feature a Battle Royale mode is yet to be seen. However, 343 may surprise fans with a brand-new BR experience, like Battlefield 2042 is doing with Hazard Zone.
