Halo Infinite AI Bots Are Useless & Players Demand Changes

Halo Infinite players are getting very frustrated with the useless AI bots in the game and are demanding some major changes!

Halo Infinite has to be up there for one of the best games of 2021. However, it does still have a few problems.

Perhaps even worse than Halo Infinite players not being able to select game modes is when players leave matches. This is because they get replaced with an AI bot.

On paper, this seems like a sensible way to keep games balanced. Although, in practice, it may be even worse to have a bot on your team!

Halo Infinite Bots Need a Buff & Increased Difficulty

Halo Infinite has climbed to a ‘very positive’ review rating on Steam, despite some glaring issues. Bot difficulty is one of them.

A new post on the Halo subreddit complains about the standard of AI bots in Halo Infinite. What’s more, it gives a great example of how bad they are.

Redditor u/The_Had_Matter14 was on the same team as a bot in a game of Slayer and it’s fair to say the bot let its team down. With 0 kills and 16 deaths, the players would have been better off without a bot!

This has prompted many players to ask developer 343 Industries to increase the skill level of AI bots in a future Halo Infinite update. And it definitely looks like the game needs it!

Hopefully, 343 makes this change soon, however, the developer has its hands full right now. This is because it has promised some huge changes to Halo Infinite progression in an upcoming update.

What’s more, 343 is also hard at work improving the Halo Infinite anti-cheat system. However, a developer’s recent statement on Halo Infinite anti-cheat angered fans.

Meanwhile, in addition to improved AI bots, Halo Infinite players would also like to see some other changes come to the game in future updates. Fans want a Double XP and 2XP token buff in Halo Infinite.

They also want reasonable prices in the Halo Infinite shop too. It costs over $1000 to buy every item in the Halo Infinite Shop and this insane number has prompted Halo Infinite players to refuse to buy any microtransactions in the game’s store until it is changed.
