Warzone developer Raven Software has confirmed that there will be a detailed weapon balance update in Season 1 Reloaded – these are the guns that we think need nerfs the most!
Even if weapon balance is in a pretty good state in Warzone right now, some guns are certainly too powerful.
Fortunately, it’s not too long before the next major weapon balance update arrives in Warzone with Season 1 Reloaded, hopefully nerfing the overpowered guns!
The top 5 guns that need nerfs in the Warzone Season 1 Reloaded update are:
Below, we go into the reasons why each of these guns needs a nerf in Season 1 Reloaded. Plus, we suggest what could be done to nerf them.
5. ISO 9mm
Even if the ISO 9mm isn’t the most popular SMG in Warzone, as it is hard to unlock, it still needs a slight nerf to its TTK.
The ISO 9mm has the fastest time-to-kill of any SMG in Warzone, at 600ms when hitting chest shots. And if other meta SMGs like the WSP Swarm (more on that later) get nerfed, it would be a mistake to leave this underrated gun’s damage untouched.
The RAM-7 is by far the best assault rifle in Warzone at the moment, thanks to its great time-to-kill and versatility. It is one of the best choices for basically any range and excels in both sniper support and long-range builds.
While a nerf to its TTK could be possible in Warzone Season 1 Reloaded, a better solution to its dominance over other ARs would be to decrease the RAM-7’s damage range and increase its recoil. This would keep it as a sniper support gun instead of a long-range option.
3. WSP Swarm
The WSP Swarm is the meta SMG in Warzone right now, thanks to its rapid fire rate, top-tier time-to-kill and ultra-fast mobility. However, this has led to many players calling the gun overpowered.
While it is certainly the best SMG in the game right now, it doesn’t need a massive nerf. Decreasing the damage slightly so it takes an extra shot to kill would be a great change, as it would keep the gun competitive without being dominant.
2. Pulemyot 762
The Pulemyot 762 is the best fully automatic long-range gun in Warzone right now. However, this is thanks to the JAK Annihilator Bullpup Kit.
This conversion kit dramatically increases the rate of fire, mobility, and handling of the Pulemot 762 to the point where it is almost as fast as an assault rifle, yet kills much more quickly!
While the Pulemyot 762 is a well-balanced gun without the conversion kit, the JAK Annihilator Bullpup Kit certainly needs a nerf. Otherwise, this LMG will continue dominating in Warzone Season 1 Reloaded!
1. MTZ Interceptor
Despite the MTZ Interceptor getting a nerf to its damage values in a recent patch, it still wasn’t enough. This marksman rifle is still dominating Warzone, and players want to see it get another damage decrease in the Season 1 Reloaded update.
As Warzone Season 1 Reloaded has almost arrived, the weapons nerfs and buffs will be revealed soon. Hopefully, we see all of these guns in the patch notes!
