GTA Trilogy Gameplay, Graphics & Lighting Upgrades + PC Specs Revealed in Leak

GTA is receiving the remaster treatment and in the Trilogy Definitive Edition, PC specs along with some upgrades rumored to be included have leaked.

Not long ago Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition to celebrate the 20th anniversary of GTA III’s release.

Namely, this collection includes GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas.

Furthermore, the GTA Trilogy is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Additionally, the title will arrive on Android and iOS in the first half of 2022.

Of course, these are not mere ports of the games.

Rockstar has certainly planned some considerable upgrades for each title on the GTA Trilogy Definite Edition.

GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition Upgrades Leak

Possible GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition Upgrades

Now that Rockstar officially announced these titles, leaks about possible upgrades have started to flourish.

In detail, the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition is rumored to include new lighting, environmental upgrades, high-resolution textures, and increased draw distances.

Considering what remasters entail nowadays, these upgrades are not far from plausible.

In addition, the game might sport GTA V’s controls and targeting style.

In particular, the GTA V control scheme would be a considerable upgrade for all the previous GTA titles.

These rumors come directly from the GTA Forums.

Although, we advise that this information is taken with a grain of salt.

Surely, none of these possible upgrades are far from what’s possible.

In fact, most gamers expect, at least graphically, that these upgrades to be in GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition.

What is a bit harder to predict is the control scheme.

Specifically, because a control scheme change dramatically impacts the way each title works.

Rumored PC Specs for GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition

Aside from the expected upgrades, a user in the GTA forum leaked possible PC specs for the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition.

These PC specs are higher than the ones that GTA V lists.

With this in mind, this would make all the upgrades mentioned above a lot more viable.

Namely, both leaks come for alloc8or, who has previously leaked accurate information about the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition.

Of course, nothing is official until Rockstar confirms it.
